HOG ISLAND

Method of Inheritance: N/A

Appearence: These Boas generally have a pale cream/tan background colour with pink/orange and grey hues, generally with black speckling to their entire body.

These naturally occurring locale Boas from the Cayo Cachinos Islands of Santa Elena near Honduras are generally believed not to grow to over 6ft in length. However I have personally kept some of the original wild caught imports that eventually reached 8ft long.

Hoggs are also quite variable in colour between specimens. The colour of individuals can also change dramatically subject to the mood & health of the Boa as well as the time of day, generally showing their palest colouration at night.

Although we do not keep many locale Boas in our collection, I have kept & bred Hoggs for many years & could not resist continuing with this exquisite Boa. Our Hoggs have been carefully selected for their clean, pale background colouration loaded with a wash of pink/orange hues.
